I thought it might be fun to start a topic on Lizards you've spotted while out. For example, in the past week or so I have seen:

- Rizzo running up SE Division St. around 20th, while I was driving down it
- Win, I think, up by Good Sam hospital about lunchtime-ish
- Diep, by Laurelhurst park, just this morning

Anyone else have sightings to share?

I could walk down one flight of stairs and spot Diep, but I guess that doesn't count.
Last weekend I saw the BBL's out on a run, and I think I also saw some Lizard ladies running across the Hawthorne Bridge. The reason I think they were lizards is that one was running in a sports bra and gloves, and I seem to remember reading something about that somewhere on this message board. Either that, or it's a new trend!

I saw Alan Rozendaal twice last weekend. I ran into him in Tryon on Saturday (ok, I didn't run into him, but I saw him coming, hid behind a tree and tried to jump out and scare him); that didn't work, so I joined him for a few miles. Then I saw him on Sunday on Leif.

Hee, that's true! I guess I should have specified -- seen another Lizard running. tongue.gif

Another good example is Heather...every time I run with her she encounters someone she knows. I think it became a running joke during PMC runs last summer... smile.png

Erin Skourtes and I crossed paths running up and then down Terwilliger hill yesterday. She was bookin' - I was loafin'.

I saw RunnerDuck Carolyn on Wednesday. She was watering a friend's dog and I ran around a corner and there she was. She gave me directions and then had to go to a final.

Ironically-I came to the board today to tell Tony that it was me who leaned out the window yesterday around 6:30 p.m. on Broadway and yelled "Go Tony" and here was this perfect forum for that.

Wow-I was at Laurelhurst this morning and I saw neither Loofahgirl nor Diep. Maybe I'm running at the wrong time!

Two days ago I saw Dan Silvernail (TDG) in my office - he was there for a meeting with someone else. It threw me for a second or two and I think I was sort of rude asking him what he was doing there (sorry Dan - I was just really confused.)

Thank you Heather. That really made my afternoon! I was on mile 7 of a 10 mile run. flowers.png

I see tgirl periodically on Mt. Tabor or SE Lincoln.
I run into a lizard dude (forgot his name) fairly often at either a Starbucks, or running along the riverfront
I ran into another lizard (forgot name) running on East Esplanade. He was training for a marathon somewhere in the S.W.
I run into Rick the most, except not when running, but while he is composing some interesting article or upcoming novel. wink.gif We seem to be in some kind of vortex realm and I run into him in many different Starbucks, see him on the streets, in pizza joints, all very random.
I saw Torrey and Angela the day before the 5 miler checking out the course.
I run into Cheryl at work and at New Seasons. She is such a sweet, genuine person.
I e-mail Sarah periodically and we owe each other a run. happy.png
