We're now offering MULTIPLE distance options. So if you do your long runs on Saturdays, you can still come out and enjoy a shorter recovery run with us!
Some folks arrive early to get in extra miles. If you're doing so, please post when you'll be starting and how much extra you'll be doing.
WHAT: 6 or 12-mile distances or optional workout
WHEN: Sunday, 02/11/2018 @ 8:30am (this is the start time for all distances)
WHERE: Starbucks on the corner of NW 23rd & Overton
ROUTE: Feel free to head up to the trails from SBUX, or here are suggested road routes:
PACE: Typically 7:00/mile to 10:00/mile, depending on who shows up.
Torrey's training group will be starting at 8:30 and running down to the Eastbank Esplanade with the group then heading to Springwater for the following:
4 mile warm up (Starbucks down to the Steel and then Eastbank Esplanade to around the Ross Island)
4 x 2 mile at half marathon pace (3 min recovery in between). We will just do these back and forth on the Springwater
4 mile cool down back to Starbucks.
Anyone is welcome to join, but I imagine we will be ~7:00 pace for the warm up/cool down and then 5:30 to 5:40 for the repeats. But the nice thing about having the workout be back and forth is everyone can regroup before the cooldown.
