I'm looking for a local race in February and the Vancouver Lake 1/2 looks like a possibility.

Anyone else running that, or have experience (good or bad) with it in the past?

Peter, you probably have surmised that it is a flat race.  So it can be fast.  Weather, however, is unpredictable and there is little to block any wind that may be blowing.

In my opinion, it is a very well organized event.

I second what Mark said. Many Lizards have run it in the past, especially back when it seemed to be the only winter race in the area (it used to be in January). It's very well organized, inexpensive, good course, friendly crowd. I would definitely recommend it.

Thanks for the votes of confidence. I just registered, so next time someone asks, I'll be able to give my two cents, too.

Looking forward to it, and maybe seeing another Lizard or two out there.  :lizard:
