This is only meant as a curiosity question and can be answered off line if need be (as I really am NOT trying to be confrontational in any way)

How much are pace bands? With the Lizard coffers seemingly to be growing and not really spending, isn't there a way to cover some of the costs for pace bands vs ordering far fewer vs splitting the cost with the marathon?

I'm venture to guess some of these options have been discussed (the latter probably being vetoed by the PM) but these are a valuable asset to the runners. It seems like a poopy deal to just cut them off completely.

We agree the pace bands are a valuable asset to runners and very much wanted to keep them available.

So as not to go into all the specifics here and derail the thread, if you want to review the details of the discussions we had about making pace bands, there are sections in the board meeting minutes about the Portland marathon from the last year regarding all of it.

Can we put that link on our homepage so we can direct people there who might ask at the expo?
