I am definitely in for this. Before I select tickets though, do we have enough Lizard interest for a group purchase (20 tickets)? Let me know who is in and please hurry while good seats are still available.

I'd be up for being part of a Lizard cheering section.

I would think that by now, all the "good" seats for Saturday are gone. We already have our tickets in section D for Saturday but the Friday night distance session is free of charge, so I think those of us who will be down there for that, could all sit together as we've done in the past.

Recently announced, the 10k races Friday night will serve as the Ethiopian trials for this year's World Championships in Moscow, for both the men and women. Another strong reason to come down for the free session Friday night at least.

Thanks for jumping in on this Bhavana. I lost track of it. If I can get a count, I will pick up the tickets so we can all sit together. Hopefully, there are still some good seats.

I just checked the site for purchasing Pre Classic tickets and it looks like for five seats together, you can still get into the west grandstands (finish line side) in section E, row 31. That would put you in the middle of the finishing straight, but pretty high up.
In the east grandstand, looks like best seats left are in section N, row 13. This would put you in the middle of the back straight.
In the south grandstand, you'd be in section U, row 7. This would have you facing the finish line head on and I believe this section is uncovered, in case of inclement weather.

I remember the "inclement weather" from a few years ago. Animals started running in heats of two and an ark appeared in the infield! ![]()
