Get ready for Peacock Lane!

Please remember to bring your donations for the Blanchet house. Items needed for men only ( Warm coats, gloves, scarfs, toiletries)

The scoop:
What: Christmas lights, of course! Portland's most famous street of lights is Peacock Lane - so we're running to it and through it.
When: Monday, December 17th @ 6:00 p.m.
Where: Foot Traffic, 4020 NE Fremont

This is about a 6 mile run or walk that includes a stop to enjoy the decorated houses of Peacock Lane followed by the most awesome potluck once we return to Foot Traffic. The weather can be unpredictable so please dress appropriately and remember that Peacock Lane will likely be crowded and a walk through (i.e. layers and headlamps are a good idea). All paces are welcome and encouraged. We'll likely split into several groups, so you can either find someone else running about the same pace, or memorize the route and be wildly popular with someone else who appears lost. Here's the route (although you can go whatever way you want - just make sure you see the lights and most importantly, get back in time for some food!

I plan to run. Will bring an extra box of utensils, and of course an appetite. I have a turkey/vegetable pie dish that I've been interested in trying. I suppose it could be done with tofu or beans and rice, or even rice and beans. Speak up if you'd prefer vegan. Gary
