If I wasn't so anal about my training I would have signed up for the McCubbins Gulch Summers series event....especially if Gary Adams was running ;-). But, I must continue forth with more miles on the trail.
This coming Sunday, July 15th, I will be running from Little Crater Lake(near Timothy Lake off of Hiwy 26th S. of Mt Hood). If anyone wanted to tag along for a 15 mile to and back from Frog Lake I certainly would welcome you freely(no charge for gas). I can drive, although only room for two others. I also would go for longer miles, if need to.
Oh, and a bonus to starting and ending at Little Crater Lake is to wash off and re-fill water bottles/juggs at the artesian spring near by. Great tasting water - and is good for you!

I would love to join you of this. I love the trails in that area. But alas, Sunday is the long awaited Superhero Run around my kingdom and I (the dread pirate Roberts) must do my best to keep up with my 4 yr old grandson ((Mr Incredible) for this momentous occasion. Let the villains (and any men with 6 fingers on their right hands) beware!
