This will be my 10th HTC. I'm willing to run any set of legs.
I'm 38, female, and in relatively decent shape (8:30-ish for most of my training these days).

Maryalicia, if memory serves you want to budget around $150 for this race. I don't think I've ever paid more than that. The amount varies depending on whether the team has a sponsor of any kind, whether team members are using personal vehicles rather than renting vans, whether the team has opted to get custom shirts or other apparel, whether a beach house rental is factored in, etc.
Some years, when I've waited until the last minute and found a team on Craigslist, they've been so grateful for an able-bodied sub that I've not been asked to pay anything.
As they say on the interwebs, your mileage may vary.

Would any team like to adopt me? I run 6:40-7:40 pace, depending on distance and terrain. Originally I thought I'd be working the event, but turns out they have enough people, so I'd love to run!
