Posting up the regular Sunday SBUX run. I have 24 MILES on the docket, so PLEASE come out then and give me some company!

Here are the details. Please reply to this post if you're showing up and if you're adding on extra miles, what your plans are. Thanks!

WHAT: 12 mile run (others often add on more mileage beforehand)

WHEN: Sunday, 05/06/12 @ 8:30am PDT (this is the start time for the 12 mile run)

WHERE: SBUX on NW 23rd @ Overton

ROUTE: To be posted later. I am open to ideas/suggestions!

PACE: All paces welcomed and encouraged. Up front tends to average about 7:15-7:30/mile, starting off slower and finishing up faster.

Who's in?

THE OLDER I GET, THE BETTER I WAS.

PROUD TO BE A PAFAR!

I'm going to make my final decision on how much I'm going to run tomorrow after an easy run in a bit, but any thought on running 10 before and then doing the back half of the Portland Marathon course (14 miles)? That would mean the 12 miler would become a 14 miler, but just a thought.

I'll be there. I'm game for 14. Or 12 and I add a warmup.

Okay, executive decision time. Melissa's idea is a good one. I'll add on ten miles beforehand, starting at 7:15am and then do the last 14 miles of the Portland Marathon course, starting at 8:30am.

I'm planning on being there this week, I'm game for the 12 at about an 8:00-8:10 but might be easily persuaded into the 14. Just hoping for a good JV representation this sunday :).

Perfect. I had planned to make this my first 14 miler since January. Now I don't even need to roll in 15 minutes early. Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I'm in for JV crew. Back half of Portland marathon sounds good. I first thought you said the Rock 'n Roll half, which would be good to practice since I am pacing it:o/

See ya there at 8:30

Maybe next week, we could run the Rock'Roll Half?

Melissa's idea is a good one.

As always

I will definitely be there for the 14 tomorrow. Sorry Tim, but on second thought, running the full 24 is probably not the best way of completing my goal of getting through the year injury free.

Have fun. I ran a fast 8 on the beach today in specific course training for the Lake Run next weekend! :-)

Dan Kearns & Eddie Diaz joined me for the first 9 and the group for the next 3 miles or so.

Thanks to everyone for the company and support on my 24 miler today, even to Chad and Hari who almost immediately ran away from all of us. Special thanks to Christophe for the water on the run.
