At March's board meeting the board of directors voted to increase the membership dues for the family membership only. Dues will go up from $40 to $50 effective July 1 2012. This, as far as any of the long time board members can recall, is the first time dues have ever increased. TRL has had some increased costs over the last handful of years and the board felt that the the family membership had the most room for an increase.

The board feels that the cost involved in being a Member, including the new cost of the family membership, is still a great deal. Membership dues help us pay for the newsletter production, membership shirts, maintenance and upgrades to our website and message board, supplies for parties, start up costs for hallmark Lizard events like the Five Miler and Cross Country and cash to purchase and screen club apparel.
