I know some people have seen the latest Gazette arrive in their mailbox (should have arrived around Wednesday for most). But I know others who have no yet seen it. There are 3 potential reasns for that, most of which can be easily resolved:

1. You are not a current TRL member;
2. You have moved since originally becoming a TRL member and we don't have your updated mailing address;
3. Someone rifled through your mailbox and decided to take that being as it looked more exciting than the W-2s, new credit card, or other things that would have no information about the exciting things happening in TRL;
4. It is still "in the mail" and might arrive some day...

If you suspect we don't have an updated mailing address for you, the best way to make sure there is not a future issue receiving your Gazette is to make sure we have the right address for you. If you PM or email me your address, I will verify and, if needed, update it in our database. torrey@redlizardrunning.com

And by the way, I have to say that this was another great issue of the Gazette. Thanks to all of the members who contributed stories to share with the membership. Joanna, Clover, Carin, Joe, Krsitin, Jeff, Jacob, and Amy.

If anyone else out ther has a story idea they want to share, we can always use some material from folks who don't usually contribute. If you want to write something or have an idea, send it my way - torrey@redlizardrunning.com

UPDATE:

OK, before everyone emails me their mailing addresses (for those of you who have moved, please continue to do so), here is the latest. Kate checked the PO Box today and it looks like the majority of the Gazettes got returned because they were too jammed packed with great stuff for one stamp to deliver.

So... we are going to get them back in the mail tomorrow. But what that means is that Gazettes will not be received in time to turn around and vote by mail for those using paper ballots. The decision is not yet confirmed, but we will likely postpone the board meeting (and therefore the election) by a week to allow everyone ample time to cast their ballots. I will post here once that is finalized, but it is highly likely that the election will actually be Jan 25 instead of Jan 18.

Excellent. That means Kate's quick action yesterday got the Gazette out to many by today. The question is whether or not people planning to vote by paper ballot fill it out by mail pick up on Tuesday and we receive it by Wednesday... seems like pretty tight timing. The board is still deciding what to do on postponing the election date, but odds are good that it will get moved out a week just to make sure everyone who wants to vote gets an opportunity to do so.

No way! I voted online. I also received my Gazette with the original mailing.
