Hello Lizard Nation! It's time once again for the Red Lizards to descend upon the Blanchet House.
WHAT: Help serve dinner to those in need. WHERE: Blanchet House 340 NW Glisan, Portland (west side of the Steel Bridge). WHEN: Saturday March 20, 445 PM-615 PM. WHY: It's fun and fulfilling! If you haven't been before, jump in. There will be lots of experienced Lizards there to help you. The following positions are available: KITCHEN (4 people) - As a kitchen staff volunteer you will be dishing your assigned food onto plates. SERVER (3 people) - Servers bring plates of food to the diners, and survey the room to make sure everyone has a plate. BUSSER (3 people) - Bussers clear away the dirty dishes when a diner leaves, wipe the table, put down a clean coffee cup for the next diner, and make sure that each table has enough napkins, water, and coffee. In so far: * Kitchen: Albert, Clover, Matt * Servers: Robert, Walter * Bussers: Tony, Susan, Drew Please let me know if you plan to attend, and which position you would like.
