Hi Lizards,

 

I'm relocating to Vancouver (not the Washington one!) for work after 11 years in Portland… and I need to find some new running friends up here. 😂

 

Does anybody know any distance runners or groups in Vancouver, BC? Ideally on the faster side of things. (2:36 marathon PR here, although I'm a bit off that peak these days.)

I don't know anyone, but BC is a great place for racing, at least it was 15 years ago when I last raced there.  Canada has a club system (as do other British Commonwealth countries) and local races cater to club competition more than we do in the States.

 

No big city park like Forest Park, but Stanley is quite nice, and jump across the water to the north for the Grouse Grind!
