Attn Lizards: The organizers of Portland's annual Run for Congo Women 5K are looking for volunteers. At the moment, they'd like to book two sweepers (who better for this than two Lizards!), but are also looking for volunteers to fill the roles listed below.

The 5k is a run/walk & is scheduled for 8.4.12 Willamette park. Registration begins at 8:00 am & the race (not timed) starts at 9:00 am. Volunteers are needed to do the following:


*Sweepers - two needed
* stationed at the turn around point to direct the participants
* stationed at the food table
*stationed at the sale table (books, bags, shirts, etc,),
* help set-up / take'down &
*cheer on the participants at the finish line
