Head's up runners and fans of the sport! This Sunday's Berlin Marathon promises to be a race for the ages. Arguably the top three marathoners in the world, and perhaps the greatest distance runners of all time, will be going head-to-head. Former marathon WR holder Wilson Kipsang, multi-time Olympic gold medalist and WR holder at 5k and 10k, Kenenisa Bekele, along with Eliud Kipchoge, reigning Olympic Marathon gold medalist and the fastest person ever to cover 26.2 (2:00:25) will all be tackling the streets of Berlin, aiming to break each other and the existing legal world record.
The race will be broadcast on NBCSN from 12:00am-3:00am PDT Sunday, as well as streamed on the NBC Sports Network site. Later in the day on the Olympic Channel, the race will be re-broadcast. So either stay up late Saturday night or set you DVRs! You won't want to miss what will probably be an epic race!
