I will take this "eye of the hurricane" for as long as it wants to stay. I had two 50+degree days last week in MI and this weather is fantastic. I've had more sun on my face in the last 10 days than I had all last summer!

Very pretty outside indeed! That said, running into a steady 20-30mph headwind with the occasional 40+ gust made for an interesting first five miles last night. There were a couple times that my legs were moving but the trees seemed to be standing still. Almost like run on an outside treadmill.

That said- I felt like my inner Kenyan was coming out on the way back in.

I like thunderstorms but from a distance. When you see a lightning bolt right in front of you then a couple of minutes later to your right, then not so much. I actually got a little scared I might get hit. Dundee was like a war zone with hail and lightning bolts earlier today.

This winter was pretty nice, generally, and so far summer has been great. I'm curious to see what sort of spring Ma Nature has brewing in her cauldron.

Or, was that intentional?

Well, the weather has been nicer for the last two weeks than it was into July of last year, so...I'm still waiting for spring. Really, it seems that Ma Nature is paying us back for last year's cool and gloomy first half of summer. And I don't mind one bit.
