I ran this morning at 7:30ish for 9 miles (BTW saw Figure and Brian H). After four miles I was wishing I wasn't doing 9. Just seemed really humid. It was not one of my better runs. Even at a recovery pace! Ouch.

Oh we all know what it is like to run and heat and humidity. That's why we don't live there anymore...

Nice. I missed that icon! I do not miss MLPS, CLEVE or BOSTON humidity......

Ahhhhh....Warm Weather.
Nothing better than working on the runners tan at 4:30pm afterwork. No trees on the N Pdx run. sweat.gif

Shut up.

Ditto: At least you get to run. I am stuck at work for the next 36 hours because I am not allowed to leave. It could be hailing outside for all I know. Now stop whinging and add a few miles on for those who can't thumbsup.png

*!&%)! And now who ordered this weekend's crappy weather?? Chez did you order this?

I have a friend who flew in from Mass. on Wed and a friend who flew in from Cali. We're suppose to be departing tomorrow morning to go ski mountaineering in the Sisters for the next few days but this weather (esp. the thunderstorms part) is too effie poor for it. Ugh.

Look what you did Chez. poke.gif wink.gif

I agree this weather sucks... bring back the sunshine. Don't get me wrong it is nice to run in cool weather, but honestly I do like to do other things besides running shocked.png that are much more enjoyable with a little sunshine.

I see lightning towards the north...no thunder clap, though. So, if you're out running under a dark cloud, take cover.

Oh man, we had a major lightning and thunder storm this evening up in Vancouver. Well, major by Pacific NW standards. It was way cool to watch.

Yeah, I enjoyed the thunder and lightning, too! I guess I won't be deprived of anything I like from the midwest this summer... (but I am glad I got my run in just before the storms began!)

I loved the rainy weather this morning. Louis, Chad and I did a 16 miler on Leif up near germantown road. We were caked it mud when we were done. Haven't done that in a long time. Now I hope it's sunny tomorrow so I can play golf in good weather.

It rained really hard during the lightning show.

Did it rain all day or just in the morning? We went to Seattle and it was really nice there.
