This is one race where I'd like to NOT see any pictures of me during the race...

Hey Gronke - is this the girl you stopped to help? Glad to see the photographer caught the drama on film...

I saw the photo before it got axed. I think it was the person who bonked and had the medical crew on her for awhile. Right before the last turn to the finish. Sherpa and I passed her and the crowd around her. I suspect Torrey didn't realize that's who it was.

I am actually upside down in one of mine. It was an OK race, but I never felt upside down. thumbsup.png

I think that shot is either from your antigravity training or when you ran a race in Australia.

Torrey,
The bike picture was kind of cool. Yes, it was a girl who bonked right before the final turn. And bonk is putting it mildly. She was going into shock (I remember the doc called her heart rate at 160 and her BP at something like 80/40, this while she had been down for 20 min).

I knew things were bad when the doc asked the medical people for her heart rate, and they said they could not get a pulse. Yikes!

Was there really no EMS there?! Even as volunteer FD, I thought they had to at least be basic EMT's. They can at least start IV's.
