Less than a week until our next Summer Series race.  PJs to Pancakes in West Linn on Sunday, July 16.  Another 5k, and this one is a new one in the SS lineup.  I'm not sure what to expect, other than it's cheap ($8 advance or $10 DOR) and they have pancakes at the finish.  Seems like a good way to get your Sunday run in - a little warm up, 5k race, cool down, then pancakes.  All that by 10am, and then you can get on with the rest of your Sunday.

They do encourage you to show up in your PJ's, but I think it's ok if we wear our singlets instead of wearing, well... whatever it is you decide to sleep in during these warm summer nights

Looks like it starts at Willamette Park (not the one on Macadam) in the Willamette Falls area of West Linn.  Address is 1100 12th St, West Linn, OR 97068.

Yes, it's Sunday, July 16th. (Don't get your PJs in a knot, Mark!)

Seriously thinking about this one.

Mark, where were you? I hope you didn't show up on the 11th ;)

That was a fun little race.  I'm glad we added it to the series for this year.  Had a small town feel to it, nice course, great value, and who doesn't love a pancake once they're done?  Not sure how soon they will get results posted to the web, but I can update Summer Series standings once they do.  Only 2 events to go (McCubbins Gulch Scramble and the Strava Segment) - and they both wrap up in early August.  You have to log your best time on the Strava segment before the final race, so you still have a few weeks to get after it.

Gathering intel in the Lostine River Valley. Had to skip this SS beaut but will be there for the McCubbins hilarity.

A great excuse... I'm jealous.

Looks like results are up.  I will sort through them shortly, but as always, will be looking for review to ensure I didn't miss anyone who was there (like Darren, aka No Name No 1 ;))

The other people just got "Unknown" so it looks like you won the subcategory of people without names! "No Name No 1"
