Danny and I ran together Saturday and he said he was planning on running the 5K. I will probably also run it if I think I can get through it without injuring myself further, a big "IF" at this point.

This is looking increasingly dubious. I'll know more later this week. cry.png If I cannot run I will volunteer.

Dave, at this rate, you'll be running injured through the entire year. When are you gonna heal first and then make that slow comeback? flowers.png console.gif

It would be great if volunteers could show up around 6:30.

We're still trying to verify the results, since there were a few issues with the results from the first heat (mostly lap counting...). Since most of the folks in that heat check the message board, I'll post the finish order we had below, and perhaps everyone can chime in as to whether they were actually ahead of or behind the following list:

Wendy T
Erin
Mike Sanders
Angela
Steve Steiner
Joanna
Doug (1 lap short)
Coop
Chris Jensen
Sexton (1 lap short)
Badass (lap short)
Shannon
Tiger Paul
Laura C
Maria (1 lap short)
Julz
Cindy

I believe I ended up a lap short...It would of been really helpful to have an official lap counter out there to help out with that kind of thing...If this had been a race that I had taken a little more seriously I would of been more mad at myself and really negative, but, oh well...S#%t happens.

If I was a lap short I ran 20:28 (according to my watch) for 11.5 laps if it matters at all.

it was fun watching last night. seeing the speed you guys exhibited certainly reinforced my decision not to jump in a 5k! great racing, everyone. Danimal, you're catching up to the "big guns"! If anyone cares, Mike H. ran 1600s of approx. 5:04+5:01(10:05)+4:51(14:56). And his last 800 in 2:18. That's the way to do it!
