This week's thread for the weekly SBUX run.

Some folks show up early to get extra miles in. If you plan on doing that, please reply with how many extra and your start time.

WHAT: 12 mile run (10M option if you turn up 9th)

WHERE: Starbucks on NW 23rd & Overton

WHEN: Sunday, 09/9/18 at 8:30am (start time for the 12-mile run)

PACES: Up front is usually 7:30/mile. Some go closer to 9:00/mile.

Please reply if you'll be coming out this week, if you're adding miles on beforehand, along with what pace you expect to run. Thanks!

7:43am huh? Better not start at 7:44 or 7:42am! And you lie about the pace upfront. 7:30/mile my butt.

In for 12-13. See whomever there. I might have some swag to raffle off, and of course KIND bars.

THE OLDER I GET, THE BETTER I WAS.

I figured average pace is a better indicator than just some random split from a middle mile. The last two Sundays my average pace was 7:28 and 7:27 and I was near the front of the pack, so that is pretty accurate. You’re welcome to run faster if you like :)

Thanks for the 10 mile option!  Also allows for slightly longer than 10 by turning on 14th or 17th.  I'll be there "pacing" David.

I have never joined your group before but I am excited to meet some new runners tomorrow. I will be going 12 miles so I will be at the Starbucks at 8:30(hoping I will be in the right spot). I usually run between 8-8:30 pace for long runs.

If you are at the Starbucks on the corner of NW 23rd & NW Overton, you’ll be in the right spot. We start the 12 mile run at 8:30am, so don’t be late! Look forward to meeting you in the morning.
