Hey Reptiles! Need volunteers for Stumptown XC Race #3 at Gabriel Park (SW 45th Ave and SW Vermont St, Portland) on Saturday Oct. 21. It's a 4 mile course. Women start at 9AM, men at 945AM. Need volunteers for the following stuff:

  • Need 3 folks for course setup: 630AM-9AM - Jeff, Gary, Janne, Raghav

  • Need 2 folks for registration/food setup and restocking/cleanup and breakdown: 730AM -11AM - Sonya, Raghav, Angela

  • Need 1 person to pick up coffee and breakfast burritos from Cheryls on 12th restaurant (1135 SW Washington St:) at 830AM and deliver to race by 920AM - Kate and Maya

  • Need 1 person to pick up two boxes of bread from Dave's Killer Bread (10955 SE Jennifer St. Clackamas) Friday (Oct 20) between 9AM - 3PM and deliver to race by 9AM Saturday morning - Jennifer

Let me know if you are able/willing to help with any of these. Questions, let me know!

Pick me, pick me.

I am going to wear something better on my feet. I can't afford more frost bite!

Thanks Sonya! Yeah, I was cold too. It actually would have been pretty nice had we been in the sun! Word of warning, our usual spot at Gabriel Park is again under a bunch of trees!

M and I will be in the neighborhood for swim lessons, so let us know if you need any additional help from 700-9:30AM. Otherwise, we'll spectate.  :cheer:

Thanks for the muffins Angela! They were tasty. I had two!

Thanks to Gary, Jennifer, Sonya, Janne, Raghav, Kate and Maya and Angela for volunteering! Special thanks for doing so in cold, wet weather. We don't pay you enough!
