Sean of Foot Traffic has apparently been catching flak from a neighboring store about us weirdo-freaky joggers taking up all the parking spots on Sat mornings.

While I don't think we are truely the source of the parking difficulties (we accounted for what, 6 cars last Sat?), it wouldn't be cool to have us causing Foot Traffic issues with their neighbors.

Sean would really appreciate it if we could park over by Petco as they have more parking and aren't nearly as uh, "concerned" about us parking over there as Sean's neighbor seems to be. laugh.gif

Thanks in advance!

that is crap but fine. you mean we turn to the left after we enter the parking lot right?

maybe sean also ought to point out that we regularly ate breakfast at the now defunct cafe, that i at least shop regularly at the pasta store, etc.

yesiree, can't have that parking lot looking full early on a saturday morning, eh?

Right, Left.

If you turn left, you're right.

Its not Sean's fault that at least one of his neighbors is a little whacked.

I think the real culprits are those who frequent the small fitness center a few doors down from Foot Traffic. Though 2 Saturdays ago we did have 15-16 people who probalby took up 12-14 parking spots.

I think Foot Traffic's neighbor was probably annoyed on Saturday since we were all enjoying donuts and coffee after our run, and they couldn't have any due to 1) their absence on our run and 2) that darn Adkins' diet.

Sorry, Tim. That was just last week when Angela was doing her special Nirvana run. But I do have a few leftover week-old donuts sitting around the house... Do those things ever go bad?

What I want to know is how a nonrunning person is going to join us for the run???

If you are capable of running, there's no rule that says non TRL members can't join us for a run. I won't be able to make it to tomorrow morning's run, but apparently someone ought to bring some donuts along to increase turnout wink.gif

Ok, you got it. I'll bring the round, artery-hardening pastries from Hell in the morning.

Now you just gotta show up, be a non nonrunner for about 11 miles, and then eat them.

Twas a good run. 6 of us met in the Petco side of the parking lot. We all discussed moving our cars to the spots right in front of the frame shop, just for fun. But decided we didn't want to put in the extra energy associated with drivning our cars another 100 feet.

We picked up Doug as we entered Tryon and the 7 of us ran to the Nature Center.

Then 5 of us decided to cut it short and head back form the Nature Center as we wanted to save something for the xc race tomorrow so Ethan and Tim continued on.

We made it back to the cars and had just about finished off the doughnuts and orange juice by the time Tim and Ethan made it back.

The idea of rotating responsibility of bringing doughnuts and juice was mentioned but I don't think anyone claimed responsibility for next Sat.

It would be cool to get that going.
