Translation: "Torrey - just because you didn't race, doesn't mean you shouldn't get the Summer Series standings updated through the Lake Run!"

Thanks for the link.  I promise that when I find a few spare minutes, I will sort through the results to pick out Lizards and get the scoring spreadsheet updated :)

Great! Thanks, Steve!

I found a URL that works better on some platforms (especially on my non-mobile devices):

Based on my scrolling through the results, these are the Lizards I picked out of the Lake Run results.  Before I use these to tally up the current standings through race #3, can those who were there take a look and let me know if I missed anyone?

Brian Schneider (48:14)

Thanks, Adam.  I got Brian added into the Lake Run standings, and just updated the overall standings for the series through race #3 (see the first post in this thread).

Some folks are off to a pretty solid start.  Carre with a perfect 300/300 points possible... impressive!  And Steve Short isn't far off that.  But plenty more races to come, so it may not be clinched up (yet) for our early leaders.  Things always get interesting once we start seeing people cap out their score when they hit 5 races and can then only try to improve one (unless it's already 100).  Although maybe Carre is going for a full sweep of max points and max participation???

Is that a challenge, Torrey? :) I registered for Up the Lazy River. This year's Summer Series are a lot of fun!

I never heard any further corrections/edits to the Up the Lazy River scoring, so I updated the overall standings in my first post with scores through race #4.  It's pretty cool that we have had 49 Lizards out for at least one of the first 4 races.  I know we will crack the 50 barrier after race #5, since I have heard rumors of Lizards who haven't yet logged a score in this year's Summer Series coming out for the Backyard Half.

And don't forget about the Strava Challenge... I know there are some times being logged on the Oaks Bottom segment.  Including a performance this past weekend by Chad Killian that is going to force me to go out and run that segment a little harder

Post #1 has been updated with the standings through Backyard Half.

Assuming I didn't miss anyone in the Backyard Half results, there are some interesting things shaping up in the standings.

  • So far, we have had 27 men and 27 women participate in at least one event.  That's 54 members out for at least one event so far!
  • Even though turn out at BYH wasn't as big as UTLR, it is interesting that it attracted some members who hadn't done any of the other races.
  • We currently have 3 people who have done 5/5 races - Carre, Charissa and Joe.  Can they keep the streak alive for the next few races???

Torrey - I think you missed Vivian Tang, a relatively new lizard. I talked her into this race and hope she doesn't regret it!

Is Mike Minnick still a Lizard? He ran the Backyard Half.
