Eileen--to get to the Petco you can come the way you came when we ran in Tryon, but just stay on HWY 43. You will go through a few more stoplights and then see Petco on your left as you're going up the hill from the stoplight at Foothills.

Malea--there is always room at the Dog Run! We are really glad that you are going to come and signed up as an official Red Lizard! Welcome to the club! happy.png

Thanks! I'm very excited about the red lizards!

We are in the dog market seriously for my wife's birthday.  Can you email her about the info on the run with dogs?  Her email is karinjpurdy@yahoo.com and PM me?  We need some more details (what shelter is running it, what dogs, etc).

Paul - did you see the "Meet the Mutts" thread? Angela has some of the dogs' photos posted who will be there. And the dogs are from the Multnomah County Animal Services (facility is out in Troutdale).

It sounds like there will actually be a decent group for the Dog Run on Saturday! Since we have some folks who will be running with the dogs, while others will be at the Lake Run race, I'm not sure how much time I will be at either event. But there will be a tent set up so that everyone knows where to meet. My guess is that someone who knows the running route will be there to lead the doggie runners, but if you go the entire 5 mile loop (ok, it's really more like 5.5 miles from the store, out and back). But depending upon if you run with a dog, and what kind of shape the dog is in, you may need to turn around a little sooner than doing the entire lollipop loop.

I will be at the Dog Run about 8:45 and can lead...but I'm not fast enough to actually "lead" and I actually don't know the route because usually my dog is either old or overweight...anyone else coming that might be a little more useful?
Dear runners: come to a group run, say hi to us at a race, or just post on the message board!
