It's still a bit early for specific planning, but track meets are starting to be scheduled for 2019. So, for the growing cadre of track Lizards, here is what I currently see on the schedule. In some instances, the dates might be tentative, and a lot of the links simply go to the race organizer's home page. But here goes:

INDOOR

Very little available this year unless you want to travel more than 200 miles. The Dempsey meets, always hard to get into, are now out of reach for all but one or two Lizards. That said, we do have a couple of options.

• 1/11 Vandal Indoor. Moscow, Idaho (I presume). Last year there were two clubs there, so they are open to clubs, and last years results show times well within many Lizards' reach.
• 1/18 Cougar Indoor #1. Last year's results put this within our reach, but I can't tell if clubs are welcome. Pullman, WA.
• 2/1 Cougar Indoor #1. Ditto, the above. Note, these are Washington State Cougars. But the results are full of teams other than Div 1.

That leaves only the Miles in Chiles series, which is on Wednesdays. It has 3 events each day, $5 fee, runners can only do one event per meet.
1/16 (400m, 800m, mile)
1/23 (200m, 800m, mile)
2/13 (400m, 800m, mile)
There is Facebook Page listing details. Key thing is that the races start at 7 pm, and registration closes at 6:45.

This Weds, 2/13, will be the last indoor track meet at Chiles. Who's going? I know Val is.

This is a reminder that outdoor track is in mid-season. Next up is the Luau meet at Pacific. April's going, I know for sure. Who else is in? This is a small, low-key meet. Is there an actual luau?
